More than half of American and Canadian iOS users obtain the latest software on their device, new figures show.
A new report shows that more than half of iOS users have updated their iOS device. The figure is expected to be even bigger, with the expected launch of the iPad Mini.
The new figures come from advertising and research firm Chitika, which tells the 61 percent of the active iOS devices in United States and Canada have the latest version, namely iOS 6. It writes our site.
The figures are derived from several hundred million views of mobile advertising.
Already on the first 24 hours after iOS 6 was released had 15 percent of iOS users in United States and Canada upgraded their software.
Chikita expects that this figure will rise this coming week and probably round 70 percent – the evening’s event was supposed to be the reason for it.
The rumored in addition to a new version, iOS 6.0.1, just now tested by multiple network operators and it should be available within the next few weeks.
